Something I doodled while on the Prince's Trust enterprise course. The other three aren't there because I ran out of room (this was on my sketchbook cover) and the big banner title thing is covering up the name of the shop where my sketchbook comes from, no free advertising for you overpriced shop of greed D:<

I usually do a white Rarity but I decided to make her black this time because I've been looking at others' fanart of her and diversity is fun. If we could not have racist comments this time that'd be great, thanks. 9_9

I don't know why people get all weird when someone makes Rarity a different skin tone other than white. So she has a white coat in the show, who cares? It's not like their coat colors correspond in any way to ethnicity. I personally love the way her dark purple hair looks with a darker skin tone.

I totally agree, it makes no sense. If I make Fluttershy a white human no one complains that her skin needs to be yellow because that's how it is in the show! :p

I personally love how you draw rarity as black! I especially love how you drew her figure. You didn't make her look like a stereotypical skinny white girl with a black skin tone colored over her.

Personally, I get really frustrated by all the ponies being white when turned human... I think Rarity makes a beautiful black lady. <3 Fluttershy is just cracking me up though- she looks so uncomfortable!
